About
We are located in one of Stratford's most envied neighbourhoods,
close walking distance to the theatres, park, and downtown core.
Built in 1877, the first owner, Margaret Dow, was a Scottish immigrant
who farmed in North Easthope just outside of Stratford for many years,
settling here for seven years at age 90!

Al's career in the RCMP took us to western Canada for over 30 years before we moved back to our hometown Stratford in May 2013.
We're happy to be "home"
and are delighted to own and share with our guests
our beautiful character home, a popular "Ontario Cottage".

We look forward to welcoming you to our cottage,
Sue & Al Wakelin
